Great site for anyone looking into the history of high school distance running! Aron Taylor has compiled a tremendous amount of data and results dating back to the 1960s! Also some very good articles about some of the best high school runners in the nation.
Distance Preps
If you are a high school runner from Florida you HAVE to bookmark this site! Even if you are not from Florida this is an excellent site that links to many great videos, live broadcasts, athlete interviews, and articles on high school distance running across the country! The USA Track & Field Foundation is fully committed, through its grant programs, to support America’s youth & emerging elite athletes, distance training centers (via the USA Distance Project) & anti-doping education. The Elite Athlete Career Development program was also created to assist athletes with job search while training and career mentoring for when they transition from competitive life.
